Gaza’s largest refugee camp is now a ghost town

Writing from Gaza, Ibrahim Mohammad reported on the conditions in the Jabalia refugee camp, most of whose residents have been forced out by Israel’s incessant airstrikes and cutting of basic supplies. Ruwaida Kamal Amer reported on the hundreds of Palestinians sheltering in a makeshift encampment in Khan Younis, surviving on limited provisions amid the ongoing assault. Mahmoud Mushtaha lamented the death of his friend Yousef, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike, demonstrating how it is impossible for Palestinians in the strip to make future plans when a soldier can so easily turn their future into rubble.
